Nutchel Champagne is a place designed to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a break from your daily routine in complete freedom. To grant you a greater flexibility, your arrival is planned to be fully automous. No reception desk to stop by, no need to stick to a specific arrival time: everything is set up so you can settle in easily at your own pace.

Parking

Two free parking areas are available at the entrance of the forest village. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a WhatsApp message indicating which parking area to use.

To preserve the tranquillity of the site and provide a true nature experience, cars are not allowed inside the domain. Your cabin can be reached on foot from your parking.

Handcarts are available to help you transport yourluggage to your cabin.

Access to your cabin

  1. Go to the Welcome Cabin
  2. At the check-in kiosk, simply enter your name or reservation number. A summary of your booking as well as your cabin number will then be displayed.
  3. Open your personal locker and get the necessary items to start your stay on the best foot.
  4. Follow the signs to your cabin
  5. Your Nutchel stay can now begin: enjoy!

Your personal locker

In your personal locker, you will find:

  • A map of the domain
  • Your rechargeable lanterns
  • Your breakfasts and other food baskets that you would have ordered before your stay
  • A selection of local foods, drinks, souvenirs, and DIYs to buy

Other food baskets will also be delivered in this locker during your stay.

What time should I check-in and check-out?

Check-in

At Nutchel Champagne, we’ve set up a self check-in system to make your arrival even smoother. You can check-in from 4 pm.

To fully enjoy your stay and make settling into your cabin easier, we warmly recommend arriving before nightfall.

Check-out

You can check-out until 11 am on check-out day. Sundays are an exception, as you can check-out til 7 pm.

Early check-out is possible if needed, although it won't change the price of your stay.

What if I arrive late?

No problem. The system remains accessible throughout the evening.

However, if you can't make it before the second day of your stay, please let customer service know.

Where can I park?

Nutchel Champagne has two parking areas.

On the day of your arrival, you will receive a WhatsAppmessage indicating which parking area to use.

Do I need to inform you of my arrival time?

No, you don't need to inform us of your time of arrival, as your check-in is completely autonomous.

Do I need to have winter tires on my car?

It is not mandatory to travel with winter tires nor snow chains when travelling to Nutchel Champagne. However, we recommend it in case of a forecast of snow falls.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a charging station for your electrical/hybrid car (yet). However, there are charging spots within a short distance from both domains and our on-site team will be glad to advise you accordingly.

What if I need assistance during my stay?

Our team remains available by phone or WhatsApp if needed.

Is there a grocery shop on site or nearby?

In your personal locker, you will find a selection of local foods, drinks, souvenirs, and DIY proposals to buy. However, for a larger grocery shop we advise you to visit one of the supermarkets in the area, just a few minutes located away from our domain.

Is there firewood available on the domain?

Yes, there is enough firewood for you available on the domain, free of cost.

Is Wi-Fi available in the cabins?

Nope, niente, nada! We made a conscious decision not to install Wi-Fi in the cabins as this is not part of the Nutchel philosophy.

Is there warm water available in the cabins?

Yes, there is warm water in the cabin shower. If you need some warm water to wash the dishes, you can easily take the big pot and warm up some water on the woodstove.

Is there electricity and a heating in the cabins?

Every cabin contains one electricity plug to charge your necessary device(s). We kindly ask you not to put a multiple plug.

There is no classical heating in the cabins, but by regular use of the woodstove, the cabins easily get comfy and warm, even during colder nights.

Does the cabin have household appliances?

The access to electricity is limited in our cosy cabins. Therefore:

  • There’s no classic fridge in the cabin as we've opted for a more ecological approach and use cool boxes with freezing elements, which can be picked up and returned at the dedicated areas on the domain, free of cost.
  • There is no microwave nor oven in the cabin. To cook food, you can use the gas stove, gas BBQ or wood stove available in your cabin.

Is there enough space for a baby bed to put in the cabin?

Yes, there is enough space for one baby bed to put next to the bed on the ground floor.

Do I need to clean my cabin upon departure?

You don't need to clean your cabin. However, we ask you to leave the towels and bedsheets on the floor and do your dishes. In case of any loss or damage, we have the right to charge you an extra cleaning fee, as per our terms and conditions.

Can we have 1 additional guest sleeping on the couch? 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to exceed the cabin’s maximal capacity for safety and insurance reason. Therefore, we do not allow an extra guest sleeping on the couch or on an inflatable mattress.

Is breakfast included in the price of the cabin?

Breakfast is systematically included in your stay. On Sundays, you have the possibility to upgrade your breakfast into a brunch.

How can I book the water path?

Unlimited access to the water path is included in all bookings. You can access it everyday between 9 am and 10 pm.

Can I order food on site? 

Please note that it is not possible to order food baskets upon arrival or during your stay.

Where do I collect my meals?

Your food orders will be placed in your personal locker at the Welcome Cabin.

Please note that all food orders ust be placed up to 7 days prior to your arrival. Therefore food baskets cannot be order on site.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen?

No, you don't. All beds in the cabin will be made upon your arrival. Have a look to our dedicated page to make sure that you pack everything right for your stay.

Do I need to bring towels?

Each cosy cabin is equipped with a set of towels per person, so you don't necessarily need to bring extra ones. However, if you plan on testing out the water path, you might want to bring other bath towels too.

Do I need to bring charcoal to use my BBQ?

All our barbecues run on gas. Therefore, you can come with a rested mind: everything is ready for you to use them. They’re also usable all year long thanks to our roofed terrace.

Is the outdoor spa accessible to all Nutchel guests?

Absolutely! The unlimited access to our outdoor spa is granted to all guests staying at Nutchel Champagne.
This peaceful wellness area includes a sauna, two hot tubs, a non-heated bath, a cold bath, a relaxation room, a meditation room and a massage booth— everything you need to truly unwind and reconnect.

For your comfort, bath towels and bathrobes will be waiting for you in your cabin. All you have to do is relax and enjoy!

How can I make coffee in the cabin?

In all of our Cosy Cabins, you'll find a Bialetti coffee maker. Please note that there is no coffee powder in the cabins, so you have to bring it with you or buy it in the Honesty Shop in your personal locker.

Is Wi-Fi available in the cabins?
